This is my Emperor Class Carrier, an advanced combat support and carrier ship designed around roleplay and the superbly exciting promises Schema has given us regarding the future of Starmade.

I just updated her this past month to work with the new patches and features that have come out since April. She now sports logic, new turrets, weapon combinations and a whole dickload of a lot more. Hundreds of hours have been poured into this ship in order to make it a believable, functionable-esque work of reality-inspired space-faring. I recommend anybody who wishes to have fun exploring something big and detailed to give her a download and walk around for awhile.

SO the closing date is less than a week away (August 20th) and it's time to finalize the ships you're submitting.

There are two degrees of ship submissions...

1) Standard Ship Submission
These ships will be used for cinematics, if they can fly and be moved (thrusters work) then they'll be accepted. Voting to come soon.

2) Battle Ship Submissions
These ships will be used for filming battles between ships, they need updated weapons, shields, and thruster systems for them to be accepted. You must be ok with other players flying your ship in a battle. If you don't want your ship to be used for this and your ship is in orange please let me know.

Following on from the starmade ship showcase thread we'll answer the questions being asked.

Please ensure that submissions are either zipped or are sment files, I don't want to have to download 20 files because you didn't export it from the game correctly.


WAYS TO SUBMIT

1) Community Content
Submit through the community content section. Upload it there then post a link in this thread or the showcase thread.

2) Dropbox
If you don't want to share it public. Upload to Dropbox for Free and private message me the link.

3) MediaFire
Same deal as dropbox, upload and private message me the link.

4) Email me
If you don't want to use an upload service, private message me for my email and you can email it to me.

The following is a copy of the current ship list. If your name and ship is in blue then it is a Standard Ship, if it's orange then it qualifies for both Standard and Battle as described above.

I will leave submissions open for another 9 hours for those who want to scrape in. When I awake I'll be closing submissions and compiling the final list, expect a video showing all the ships, for your benefit and my own so I. Actually know what I've received as I haven't actually looked at the ships that have come in.

From there we will open up voting...somehow, the forum polls probably won't support 300 options.
There will be prime spots in the trailer for some ships as required by the actual script and sequencing. I think it's only right that the community chooses them. At least two will be fighters, then a couple of different sizes going up from that.

I will also let you know the servers and times for some of these space battles. Players who have submitted ships for battle sequences please be aware that other players will be flying your ships as part of this, and this is your last chance to opt your ship out of it if you aren't comfortable with that.
