Whoa, haven't been here in a while. I have to say, Schema and co.'s progress has really been stunning! Tons of bugfixes and content added in a pretty short time span really this game's growth! Im thrilled to play this new version. Thanks devs, you do great work.

So galaxies are 128x128x128 systems and each system contains 16x16x16 sectors?

That means a system is made of 4096 sectors and that by 128*128*128 is.... OMG....

8,589,934,592 sectors in a single galaxy!!!!
8 billion, 589 million, 934 thousand, 592 sectors in total (LE FUN SHALT NEVER END!)

    CONFIRMED:

The FactionConfig file has been released for admins to toy with in the latest build, .1807. There is also a file that preserves fac points and Faction Status across universe resets. Server Admins rejoice! You can now customize things beyond your wildest dreams!

    Major Bug report here:
Dis-Intergrators are not destroyed after they trigger an explosion.
Due to that you can build Death Drills of Doom that much trough anything within seconds.
Sonds cool but crashes the game.[DOUBLEPOST=1415377395,1415376387][/DOUBLEPOST]example:

Now, quick question. Should the stop modules defensive boost (Resist gravity) help with the gravity of black holes, too? Or is that working as intended?

They should help with the black holes too. The description is natural gravity, so it makes sense if it helps. Keep in mind that it only reduces the gravitational forces to 1/4 of the original.

Hm, I had tested it right before posting, and I saw very little loss in speed, if any at all. Unfortunate that it doesn't negate it entirely, I would love to have a base floating near a black hole, and be able to move and fight normally around them. Plus, I always thought that the Maw was an awesome idea.

Erm... Let's say someone was flying through the back hole transit system... Now say that that person's game crashed and exited them out of their ship. Now the ship is flying without a pilot at speeds well above the server limit through the transit system... How would one get their ship back?

use the /search (ship name here) command.

then use /change_sector (insert XYZ cords here)

then select the ship with f and press TAB F8

depending on how fast the ship is going through systems you may need to try several times before you actually get to it.

Even if you do get to it though its going to take a long time to exit a wormholes gravity well

You could also track its position on the map, then estimate a good time to catch it (when it's just exiting one wormhole, for example).

Chairs don't have to be a meter away from the table anymore in the latest dev.

There's a new "tutorial sector," and an npc named "Sitting Joe." I shot the chair out from under him and he fell flat on his ass.

    This game is awesome.
