You guys were having problems with transcontinental transportation? We had the same problem too, our ships that travel that far were deemed to have too few turrets. So nowadays, we just send the turret itself.

Transcontinental transportation= Transport between continents on a planet.
I severely doubt anybody has trouble transporting stuff from one side of a planet to the other in starmade.

Good point, they have difficulty on getting a ship to move past 5m/s.....

...due to the fact that they are far heavier due to all the over-powered weapons and shields inside of them when compared to other factions' ships, of course. ;P


In all seriousness though, I don't believe we've ever had thrust issues until this recent build which screwed up thrust again and made our WIP ships real slow. I'm hoping they take a nice long break from changing things in the game and focus on optimization for a while, get it back up to pre-0.1 levels.

New ships
2 new ship classes are nearing completion.

[Commander]Armitage Class (NCC-902--)

[Ensign]Stargazer class (NCC-903--)

Stargazer will replace the Inspiration as the standard ensign ship for starfleet, with all active inspirations planned to be mothballed ready and replaced by the stargazer. already she is better in everyway, weighing over 2x as much.

Armitage is expected to be the workhorse of the fleet, dealing large amounts of damage and being able to soak up even more. An emergency war fleet will be made consisting almost entirely of armitages.
