Name: Raelimar
Age:29
Personality: Quiet, intelligent, free-spirited and independant but appreciates the benefits of camaraderie
Bio:
Raelimar grew up an orphan in the slums of Victus and following in the footsteps of many an orphan before him, ended up in a small street gang. He spent his spare time tinkering with engines and reading, and became rather adept at getting old speeders back in working order for his \'brothers\'. Things were pretty good for Raelimar throughout his teenage years as his gang used thier vehicle advantage to corner the drug market in their neighborhood and his nonhesitance to kill rival gangmembers combined with his value as a mechanic made him a favorite with the leaders. Though with all \'empires\' when they\'ve nobody to fight without, they begin to fight within.
Finding himself in the awkward position of a neutral party being forced to pick a side, Raelimar instead chose to go to the nearest military recruitment office and enlist, figuring he had a better chance of surviving a real war where your enemies are known. Though lacking any formal education beyond primary school, he was able to score well enough on aptitude tests with self-taught knowledge to get into Eternia\'s engineering program where he excelled, and as it turns out, wouldn\'t have to directly fight in any war at all. Once finished with the program he was placed in a Special Tasks R&D group to assist with the creation of an effective cloaking system.
Over the next few years, Raelimar rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant and when the program successfully produced a prototype cloaker, he was placed in charge of one of several groups whose task was to design fighter craft equipped with such a system. It did not take long for him to realize the amount of money that a person of questionable morals in his position could make, and soon began selling schematics on the black market. Raelimar rapidly accumulated obscene wealth and began making plans to disappear before he could be found out and live the rest of his days in luxury, but luck was not with him.
The morning of the very day he was to leave, Raelimar received a knock on the door to his room. He opened it to be \'greeted\' by an investigator accompanied by an armed escort of military police. Bruised and bloodied, Raelimar was taken directly to a shuttle which immediatly took off and entered into orbit over the planet. Several minutes passed before a large transport could be made out ahead. As they approached, Raelimar could make out the name painted accross the hull of the ship, \"Hail\", and his heart filled with dread, for he knew that name, and he knew he would spend the rest of his life on that ship...
... or would he?
Plans:
IC- 1. attempt to recover money from black market sales(obviously not billions, but the starting cash can be what my character is able to recover) 2. find quick employment to increase odds of survival; military combat training, though minimal bacause of field, will help find work as mercenary 3. find a large employer willing to offer decent pay for services as an engineer designing stealth combat vessels, and who is able to provide protection from Eternia. 4. save as much as possible 5. retire
OOC- hang out, rp a little, join a faction, Evolution looks good for part 2 of IC plans then maybe move to Ryzan Empire for part 3, depending on if you guys will have me, knowing that for IC purposes membership would not be permanent, all plans subject to change of course, nothing is set in stone; and during all that, building some ships, hunting rats and having a damn good time
Other: \'Eternia\' Internal Affairs you lucky bastards, one day later and I\'d be living the good life on the other side of the galaxy
Also, what\'s up guys
