Well, let's see... I've just conducted a literally-one-minute investigation into this case, and what I found is borderline worrisome.

It seems that when the leaker, MConlisk , originally leaked the new planet in this necro-post, it was the 5th of December, which, in Eastern European countries, is the day when Santa brings the presents! - Extremely suspicious, right?

Then, the last time he posted on the subject of the new planets was last Sunday, and nothing since. - 11 days is surely enough for these ultra-efficient professionals to track someone down and "give him an offer the he can not decline", right? ;)
Yeah I thought there was something fishy about this. It seems a little too perfect how it ONLY works on their computer.

I'm telling you, he must be a former insider who chose to go rogue... He must've fallen victim to the moral calling of the angel on his right shoulder, and decided to blow the whistle, while still covering himself by not outright admitting that he used to work for the S.I.A.

I figure the sheer weight of all the guilt (that he must've had for constantly being at an arm's reach from all the top-secret treasures from which we, the famished community, would benefit so much, if only those miserly Masters of the Universe weren't so selfish) made him turn against them.

And to what end? - We just lost another unacknowledged hero :(

R.I.P., Leaker of the Icosahedron Planet, victim of the Schine Intelligence Agency.

Sure it could be fake, but it looks pretty convincing. With the problem running it in other installs, entities tend not to appear if they are a later version than your install. It's just how things work in this game.

I remain optimistic and hope that this is a possibility, but I would prefer a different type of planet personally.
[doublepost=1545338837,1545338760][/doublepost]One dead giveaway to shenanigans is that it's supposed to be in sector 2 2 2. The default spawn sector, where planets never are due to lag.

You mean a dead giveaway to this being legitimate? It makes perfect sense for a test feature that hasn't been properly implemented yet, to be placed at the spawn sector for quick checking of whether or not the thing is working as intended.

Even if it's not Schine's project, It's most likely real. It's been demonstrated that you can use turret axis blocks (and a fair amount of math skills) to make artificial multi-plate planets.

Given that I've made a 400m+ artificial multi-sided spherical planet and SkylordLuke has made a 500m+ Death Star and his own planets, it's not inconceivable that someone could have built this. Schine already hinted at new planets roughly 18 months ago and they have all the cool developer tools that we don't. While we can't prove it, I think we all have a pretty good clue where this thing came from.

I would never place lag monsters at spawn, whether intentional or not, but it is conceivable that Schine placed it there to be found. And using the planet calculation in game to have it spawn rarely would allow it to spawn for some lucky player. For me that's a bit of a stretch, so I'm going to believe it is Schine as Dr. Whammy mentioned.

Can't even get your story straight. Earth is a cube with softened corners/edges, you just cant tell because the smog from the industrialist pigs gets too thick after 7-8 miles at the best of times. That's the only explanation

5th of December is not the day Santa (Clause) brings presents but Saint Nicholas (whole different person, has a golden staff and a big pointy hat)
