Do you have shadows on? If I turn shadows off the game seems to work, not too sure if thats the case for you though.

Why does the collision damage ignore shields? Isnt it a little bit silly that raw anti-matter cant pass through shields, yet a bit of dirt can

because most sci-fi shields protect only from light/laser/rays but not from impacting things (in this case collision with other objects)

Why are astroids so dangerous if ships have deflecter shields?

yeah think about it, the energy shield is absorbing the antimatter or radiation or whatever, but the solid matter can just pass through it. Would be neat if missile could to
