i deceided to make a battleship that was funtional as well as nice to look at. this is what i came up with. im still working on it.. i have a few for turrets to place and finish the interior. but it is combat ready and looking good lol

Good job building this, I always have trouble coming up with ideas for ship designs. There\'s lots of white space on the front and sides, but it doesn\'t look bad like it would on other ships.

im still working on it.. as soon as im done i will upload for everyone to use. the excessive white is getting broken up with black lines to simulate hull plating, the turrets do about 1200 each and reach out 2k km( the big ones that is). as far as someone else making it irst or something like it, im not sure, i havent looked through the forums lately lol.. But at any rate thank you for the comments, I should be done within the next week or so, and i will upload, cheers

the icarus is a very nice ship, i will never doubt that, however with the game mechanics the way they are it is a very impractical ship other then a show piece. the only weapons that i control on my battleship are 72 sd-bb missile lunchers and 2 d-100 missile lunchers at the front of the ship. And those are for other large ships and starbases. for faster smaller ships I have the turrets and hopefully soon support craft.

this ship looks like it would be a great escort cruiser for a carrier. plenty of emplacements for turrets and inter-ship transports... i was on the fence about downloading it before, but i think i\'ll download it now that i\'ve seen the new pictures.
