First one is in reference to the vote which happened when ridik applied to join the Athanatos Concord as a joke. It was not a unanimous rejection as shown.

The second has to do with the concord factions leaving the Illusive Server and moving over to the NASS Server. The bottom part referencing an older comic http://i.imgur.com/7pfb8UR.png seen here which was posted on the prior starmade site. The NLR (now NLE) reactivated around the same time the concord folks hopped off of Illusive. So they 'woke up'.

I could read these all day... also have you tried using any software programs to help make them look a bit nicer because software programs help a lot with art mainly due to the fact that you don't have all those curves on a sphere etc when using the software programs tools .

A couple things about this; you are one of the only people saying that we should use more advanced tools. Everyone else complaining about the art style is saying that we are doing it 'wrong' because we aren't following polandball's guidelines. I usually use advanced tools to make my factionballs look aesthetically pleasing to me. Claru has begun drawing without advanced tools, pleasing people who like the old polandball rules.
