Since the exodus from Earth, Esthar Fleet Systems has been supplying humanity and all of our allies with superior starships, for a fraction of the price, that other inferior shipbuilders would have you pay. Part of our cost-savings that we pass on to you, is our fleet of industrial starships. All are Orange/Dark Grey, per Coalition Labor Code, and use bright white lights such that our work areas are always illuminated.
All Esthar ships can be boarded, as these ships may be used to serve as a temporary outpost planetside, during prospecting or other operations. Not all ships have artificial gravity, however. We accept no responsibilty for banged heads, gluboks, or other appendages.
Esthar ships aren't particularly nimble, and don't have great shields. They tend a bit towards the heavy side - the Barges are 98.7 mass, while the Esthar Pickman near the bottom is roughly 50 mass, the sentry is the lightest at 30 mass. As these are working ships, they have minimal shields, and tend to mount beam turrets as a form of defense.
Our ships aren't built for fighting pirates, so we rely on our customers in the Coalition for protection. What's more, the Valron Empire seems to pay us no mind so long as we trade - they don't seem to consider us a threat. Clearly they've never met our HR department.
Anyone who doesn't want to take part in an interstellar war directly, should submit their applications. Admittedly, pirates are a problem for our operations, but we've recently began an aggressive ex-military recruiting program so that we can have proper guards for our work.
