I need some help with my Star-Made. I have recently bought a dedicated server for me and a few of my friends to play on but absolutely no one can connect. My server had worked the day before but it was rather laggy when more people started joining so that is why i got the dedicated server.

We get disconnected when you are trying to login. The error we seem to get is this:

    Critical Error
DisconectExpection: You have been disconnected from the Server (either connection problem or server crash) Actual Expection: EOEFExpection

    MY SYSTEM SPECS:
    i7 4770 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) CPU
NVIDIA GIGABYTE 640 2GB OC Edition GPU
    GIGABYTE Z97 Gaming 3 Motherboard
    Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
    550W PSU

I think my specs are fine to run this game and single player sandbox works fine with no problems. Just any server me and my friends join have so many problems :/[DOUBLEPOST=1413224911,1413224637][/DOUBLEPOST]Star Made Diagnostic Tool Results

    RESULTS:
Windows version: Windows 7 64-bit ....PASS
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
    Memory: 8192MB RAM
Graphics Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 ....PASS
Java version: "64 bit Java 6 (or below)" ....FAIL

I Checked the Java version myself and i have Java 7 so im not sure how i failed it.

Maybe you want to switch to the dev version of the game and try to connect to the official testserver.
Simply add a new Install folder under Installation Settings and switch to Dev in the launcher.
Then let the launcher reinstall the game and test if you can connect.
Search the Server in the Server List from the game starter.

It is possible that your server is simply not responding without realy crashing ... you may have to restart it manualy.

Java 7 can be both 32 bit and 64 bit.

    https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Download the 64 bit here after removing 32 bit.

However that is probably not the problem.
Most likely your server needs to be restarted or your internet is having issues.

I updated JAVA and that seemed to fix the problem in the diagnostics tool results but i'm not sure if it will the game.

You bought the server from a dedicated host?

    May I ask which one?

If it's pingperfect, I am on ticket duty right now so drop a ticket and I will look into it for you.

@Xeeshnek Do you have remote file access to the server?
    If yes:
    go to /StarMade/logs directory
    and download/open the file
    log.txt.0
Check last few lines for errors,
or if possible upload the log here and I will check it.

They may have some built-in config error, as their servers all show 0/0 players... ^^°

Please check your access to logs or files ON the server, requesting sync is your client side log.

Drop them a support ticket, if the problem is on the server they should be able to fix it.

Okay a new update released for Star-Made and now everything is fine except my own server. At least i can join it now but it keeps saying it is under high load. So i filed a support ticket as you told me to and hopefully they will get it fixed :)

I bought a server from www.gameservers.com and it says it can support upto 10 players.
When me and my friends join it immediately says that the server is under high load and everyone gets kicked off. I have filed at least 3 tickets and they said they will get it fixed but when they try nothing seems to improve.
The server can barely support a single player let alone 10...
