I've joined Starmade on early August. I've found out about the game with a random video that appeared out of nowhere in my Facebook feed, it was a ship showcase. I was living idle times, so I became insanely active. Had to get inactive after January due to some RL problems, but I'm back here since May, I think.

I bought it back in May, June, July of last year. Sometime in there, back when 4chan/vg was going crazy over it still instead of space engineers anyways. I tend to avoid youtube so this is the first I've heard bout the yogcast stuff.

Don't play as much anymore, mostly just waiting for things to stabilize and get set in stone. Oh and more features to make exploring fun (better planets, aliens, cities, ect). I enjoy building ships with full interiors and going full star trek, so knowing how much space I need to work around and wedge in rooms is vital.

I joined around the time hocgaming did starmade ( I know that because that's how I found the game) played for a while and stopped playing. Then I found it again and played it. The game changed a lot, and I liked it. So I decided to go to the forums, and found the new site.

So, technically I did. Don't remember when I left though.

I joined almost 2 years again when there was blackholes and the old old textures , if I remember right it was something around the 0.073 or 0.083 version so yeah stone-age of starmade xD, I'm one of the most important member of the french community (we have our own forum wich is really awesome), this game is so perfect, I can't imagine how perfect it will be in beta or final release x)

I actually came with the so-called 'Yog-swarm' despite being an old man... by this community's standards. I tend to think of this community as a mix of 13-year-olds and Elite fans, mostly the former. Not that that's a bad thing, mind. I'll probably give Starmade a rest soon, though, and come back in a couple of months. I do the same thing with DayZ. I come back every now and again to check out major updates. Soon I will fade back into the ether.

I came before the yogstorm and play on and off. This game is really fun and has a lot of potential however a lack of things to do and a general feeling of emptiness tends to cause me to take long breaks due to a lack of content.

I joined June last year, and had a citizen account shortly after then. I was a yogscast fan ^^ but when I saw that yogscast made a video on starmade I was like "Wooaahh, I know that game!" I didn't do much (anything) on the old forums, they hurt my brain :D. It was only recently that I jumped back into starmade and set up a forum account on this new site, and I'll tell you, big or small, this community is awesome :P

I joined Starmade at the beginning of the yogswarm, I saw their video thought oh cool, played it and instantly fell in love with it and bought it. I played it for quite a while until I eventually got bored as I felt there wasn't much to do and only played after every new update and just stopped altogether. But I picked it up again a few updates ago and I'm pretty active now.

I picked the game up on my little brother's recommendation, a few days after the yogswarm (his friend was a yogscast fan), and I've been on and off ever since. Earlier on, my computer struggled to load a sector, now it feels fantastic to be able to see so far, to build so big, etc.

My build skills aren't great, and to my disgrace, I've not finished anything bigger than a fighter to date.

Although I've purchased the game, I've only ever been on a few servers, including AdmiralKio's RP server, but while RL problems got in the way of my presence there, the thing that made me wary of servers was getting totalled as soon as I left 2,2,2 on both of the other servers I played on, both times by players in frigate-sized ships, while I was in my only core.

While I recognise this isn't the face of most of the community, it does not fill me with hope for any server I enter. As such, I prefer to build as a solo player, littering my server with half-build destroyers.

Otherwise, yes, I'm still here.

Was that an intentional rhyme? Either way it was awesome. This is some much like me too. I have finished a frigate, once, but otherwise I've only really mad fighters. I'm hoping to change that with my current WIP though.

I joined in after Scott Manley posted a video, so I suppose just a little after the Yogswarm. I played a little with my friends, and largely ignored the community until I came across the Thunder dome, of which I now run a spin-off. The Lightning Sphere is always in need of new fighters if any of you need something to do.
