    Some of you may remember the name "Monolith" from a thread I started on the old site regarding this ship. Well, here I am a year and a half later, and I'm still building. That's right, folks. I've been building this ship for over a year and a half. And it's still not done. Oh no. I've been ripping apart 'old' segments, and replacing them with newer, more up-to-date segments, redesigning interiors, expanding the hull to add two new hangars (And will likely continue to expand the hull), which has gone a long way to get away from the dreaded 'star destroyer' look that I initially had. But I digress. I'm still here, still building, and as I type this, the monolith is moving onto a new home on a new server.

    Update #1: Ripped off the original bow today, and decided to make her longer - 216m longer, actually. Spent most of the time getting the launch ramp functional once again. I also now have to fix some of the weaponsystems that got fucked up due to overzealous block removal.

    Update #2: Added a spire to the fore, started detail work and decking, did rough fill pass of interior.

    That's one big ship for sure :O

    If I have a suggestion, instead of placing the docking enhancers at the same level than the docking unit (in the hangar), place it 1 block below, it still works and is nice improvement overall. Also, wedges :3

    But I'm sure you already know it :)

    Hope I get to see the ship finished someday !

    Parts of the ship have been wedged, but some parts that are still ~in flux~ have not. All corridors get wedged before I move on to another part. Period. Also, I'm aware of the bit about the docking enhancers - I place them on the surface for ease of access.

    I have to say, that's a f*****g nice ship!!! Extremely impressive for an original ship! I really wish that we had more builders like you :D (not implying that there aren't any, but more wouldn't hurt)

    Update #2: Drawing inspiration from Keptick's SuperTitan, which includes a fore superlaser, I went about starting to modify (After speaking to him, of course) and integrate his design for a superlaser into the new fore:











    At the moment the superlaser does 3.5 MILLION points of damage (raw), completely drains the capacitor, and takes a full minute to recharge. I plan on doing some fancy logic as well to make smaller tributary beams appear.

    Does it have a 2.5 burst time(100% pulse)?
    If so that's 2.5 secs and i'm sure its 3.5mil damage per sec while shooting

    Update #3: Added a forward miniature conn tower to the bow, started re-sculpting the business end of the superlaser, did some wedging in other areas o f the vessel:

    Okay guys, today's update is going to be brief. Long story short, broke 5,000,000 blocks, most of it was doing interior detailing. I'll have pictures up in a bit.

    As promised, here are some pictures of today's work:








    I designed a newer, prettier flack turret today. Much better than the ugly-as-sin boxes I had previously. Also, now with 20% more flack!

    Also, rebuilt the broadside guns, and started moving all weapons computers to the tactical deck. All of the weapons systems will eventually have both a main computer, and a spare (backup) computer on the tactical deck, and then a backup computer in the ship core. Also, continued putting together the corridors on the tactical deck. As of right now, the main cannon array, the superlaser, the SWARM launchers, and the long-range wing-mounted torpedoes, and all their supporting systems and effects have been moved onto the new computers on the tactical deck.
    Also, not pictured, I started putting together the medical deck. It's... ridiculously bright, so I've got to adjust the lighting. Damn hardened white hull.
