2H2O is the formula for rocket fuel so yes it can explode because it contains oxygen.



rocket fuel is a reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. many rockets use hydrogen as the fuel and oxygen as the oxidizer.

Not all rocket fuel is hydrogen, and not all oxidizer is oxygen though. There are many possibilities.

Gameplay is more important than realism. Say engines are hit in a ship...the fuel will combust, and if they are nuclear powered it will melt down and molten metal will be flying everywhere. There\'s is also plenty of oxygen in the ship to use as an oxidizer. The fire will be put out quickly, but still, theres no reason to not have explosions.

if we\'re talking bout exploding cores then i suggest that we be able to link disintegrators to the core and hav a togglable self-destruct sequence with with timer so we can escape
