"With the addition of the Blizzard to the Adimo arsenal, conflict was abruptly halted in the known galaxy. This saw the military focused shipyards of Adimo lacking work. So, a new venture took hold. Aegis Heavy Industries.
The branch of Adimo specializing in industrial craft and mining operations soon took over the core shipyards which made them redundant. With Adimo gone Aegis grew greatly, reaching the frontier of mapped space. But with this came the return of space piracy. With military forces in reduces number, criminals seized the opportunity, attacking lightly defended installations and stealing valuable minerals.

This was the birth of the Aegis Heavy Industries military production line. After surpassing Adimo, industrial vessels had been the focus, but now securing assets had become an issue, it was time to bring back a strong military presence.

Adimo Shipyards were the pinnacle of military technology. Now, with the combined knowledge of construction and warfare, Aegis Heavy Industries will bring about a new age to the galaxy."

Our designs.

Here, at Aegis Heavy Industries, you will find well balanced, reliable and reasonably powerful semi-RP ships. If you are looking for pure PvP machines or a heavily RP-focused designs, then this place is probably not for you. We do not build anything that resembles an interior-less deathcube, but we also won't go excessive lengths to incorporate minor aesthetic details. We believe that true art is balance between form and function, offence and defense. Of course, this does not mean that you won't find any focused ship designs. The AHI logo symbolizes the three aspects of ship building:

• The wrench - utility and flexibility.
• The hammer - strength, raw firepower.
• The shield - reliability, durability and defense.

With these elements in mind we hope to create the ultimate pilot experience.

Hey man, I just had a look over the Baldr and wanted to say, that using advanced armor on a fighter with open systems is not logical. But I like the design, so thats why I took the long trip from the CC to here.

Because of how AHP works, it is okay to expose some systems for aesthetic's sake unless you are going full min/max.
