100 % JVM crash

    Hi,

    I'm having this common issue with that 100% JVM crash, but I tried all the fixes I could and it still does noit work.

    Specs :

    Windows 8.1 32 bits
    Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU Z3740 @ 1.3 gHz (4 CPUs)
    Intel(R) HD Graphics (v 10.18.10.3643)
    2048 MB RAM
    DirectX 11
    Java RE 8 Update 45 32 bit

    Fixes I tried :
    -Update Intel Drivers : Impossible since I use a netbook with protected custom drivers
    -Use JDK 8.45
    -Install in C:/Starmade
    -Run as Administrator
    -Increase memory allocation for Starmade (/Memory Options)

    Anyone got some clues how to fix this ? I bet the Intel Drivers are the problem but I can't find a way to update them (I already tried the ones from my manufacturer's website...).

    try installing the JDK instead of the JRE then, it fixed those problems many times.

    (you may want to upload that instead the java one)

    but to be honest ... i do not think you will have any fun running SM on that piece of hardware in any case :(

    Installing the JDK instead of the JRE will fix this.

    Stops loading half close to the end of the shader section. That is mostlikely related to the Intel drivers. (i asume, not an expert there)
    Sorry, but other than updating the Drivers manualy from the intel page (maybe not working for your hardware as mentionend before) and using the Java JDK instead the JRE there is nothing else i do know about.

    edit: dont forget to remove the JRE when installing the JDK ... maybe using the wrong thing otherwise.

    I already have JDK as the sole Java version. Starmade is correctly using /Program Files/Java/jdk1.8.0_45/jre/bin/javaw.exe

    And as I said earlier, I managed to install the last Intel drivers

    Then i am out of ideas. The possibly wrong use of JRE with JDK installed was my last idea. And i had seen the 10.18.10.4176 driver comment .. so if that one isnt working i do not know.

    Have you tried a repair install from the Starter ? Options&repair -> (choose actual version) -> forced download. Maybe the shader file is corrupt somehow ( not realy an idea ... very long shoot)

    Having the same issues, and have done the same steps, hopefully someone somewhere knows how to fix this
