Turrets are just ships with a bobby ai-module(if you want it to be automated) set to turret, if you don\'t want an ai using it, just get a player to use the ship core and not undock the ship from the turreting docking.

Have you ever thought about making automated turrets stations on your station, sure they have limitations to z rotation(up and down) but it can be overcomed with more then 1 spread out certain distances and they still do same functionality as ai ships but they don\'t move.

As of Starmade Version 0.09374, it adds a new feature for servers with custom blockconfig, not sure if it works same for the properties file. I have a server, ip and port is 99.255.242.228:4242 Fix was removed due to recent game update.
