Technically the plexiglass is the hardened glass. It has the same hp and armour as the hardened hull. Harded glass would be even stronger than the hardened hull.

No its not it has lower armor.

    25 armor, 200 HP.

    vs

50 armor, 200 HP for hardened hulls.

So hardened hulls take half the damage as the glass.

Ironically it does have twice the health of regular hulls at 200 vs 100.

So it takes more damage than hardened hulls, but less than colored hull pieces.

Considering there is a hardened version of Hull ,there should be a hardened version of glass.. which is why i support this hardened glass idea :D
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hull + PLEXglass = STANDARD ARMOR

Hardened Hull + Hardened PLEXglass = TOUGH ARMOR
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Makes sense..

Considering that armor is almost entirely useless, what\'s the point?

that at some time in the future there will likely be some sort of balancing patch that will make armor relevant again, wether it\'s a change to weapons, a buff to armor or both doesn\'t really matter. Like you said, armor is useless now so its likely to get some sort of balancing later.

Balancing isn\'t high on priority now, but now is the time to introduce all the blocks that need balancing later. That said, steps should be taken to balancing things all the time, to avoid having to make massive changes later with little time to test stuff. At this point it would be good to balance by introducing new features and blocks, rather than drastically changing existing stuff.
