I just use the old system of long seperate rows of power generators, sticking in shielding blocks and whatnot into the empty lines. I can't be bothered with making a hyper-efficient system at all.

Why not put in a scoping feature for ships too? It would make sniper platforms semi-viable as the only way to get zoom is to turn down your FOV.

The only thing I'd say is that crits don't do too much extra damage (preferably a set percentage, say 15% extra damage) in order to keep combat more about 1) who has the better ship and 2) who is the better pilot. 3) would be if, like me, you have a small habit...

Well, thinking about it, that ship was massive and had no form of protection outside of its shields. The amount of power used is ridiculous here. Best counter I can think of here is use a bunch of fast small ships that have two systems: one to take out shields and one to keyhole a bunch of key...

Ship size limits are like anarchism: NO RULES NO RULES.

I preferred the old system for shield regen. Only getting a regen on a tick is very annoying. The old system was much more effective honestly.
