      I will have to experiment with similar panel turrets for our own starships. Your turrets look suspiciously... tiny... but regardless it is probably better than the odd embedded rocker panels we have in the sides of our ship and one way or the other the amount of blocks I can fit will end up...

      ...but your turret is tiny... Creating practical turrets with similar yield to ST phasers would probably still require the use of traditional barrelled turrets. Your solution might prove insufficient.

      Torpedoes were self-guided (basically lock-ons, we have these already but obviously they can't lock outside of the screen space) and phasers were effectively a type of turret. They had no external moving parts, but they could cover a wide range of angles... The only things that can do that in SM...

      As someone who's run into this issue, I would support this... If the way turret shield sharing works were to change a bit... At the very least, though, I would like to see the ability to crosslink into the turret base if not the main ship. Would open up so many possibilities for better-looking...

      Yesh.... This would help so much with my stations. Seeing as they are usually supposed to be composed of multiple structures, this would allow me to skip the spamming-block-towers step of reaching the location I want to build my shipyard or habitation facility or whatever at.

      Yes, but there is no restriction to scale in StarMade. I'd rather disable it altogether and force people to use atmospheric fighters and ground forces, than try to make the system balanced WITH bombardment...

      To me it seems more intuitive (and would look better) for the inhibitors to animate down... since they spin down jump drives. This is probably not accurate to Star Trek, though. :P

      You can just create new factions, set up their alliances/enemies, and then assign the waves for those factions, I think.

Here in the Imperium, we generally have a ton of brown standard armor, black standard armor, black hull, PlexDoors, white lights, yellow lights, blue crystal armor, a little glass, a little black and brown advanced armor...
