I agree that these things need to be added but making sure the basis of the game (building ships and combat) is optimized is slightly higher on the list. After we get the HP system I would love to see work done on these features.
Use the wireless logic blocks to hook each segment to the main ship. Then hook those up to a remote control which you can rename by pressing 'R' on it, that will then be in your weapons menu.
First off, have every barrel be its own gun (separate cannon computers)
Next put an area trigger on each barrel so that when it rotates and passes through the top it fires. Make sure the area triggers dont hit any blocks except for the top.
Hope that works I honestly have no clue if it will :p
Moar rail testing!! This time I am designing a hidden turret system, it is just the very basic design and needs a lot of compacting to make it efficient but it looks cool nether-the-less
I've started to do some testing with the new rails and gosh you gotta love them. Small scale they can be tricky to fit since each piece has its own core but large scale some majorly epic stuff can be created.
Here is my first hanger door test. There are 4 attached pieces, the two main doors...
Cant say that I am a fan of the new orange glass (dev build). It certainly is more orange but it looks awful with the brown hull I normally use it with. Do you think we could get a brown glass that uses the texture of the old orange?
ps It actually looks great but it takes away a decoration...
Yea I definitely just found out about this yesterday and I've been playing for a few years now... I feel like such a noob hahah so glad I know about it now though!!
A warning system would make the game so much immersive! I would also like to see an incoming lock on missile warning too.
Instead of a new logic block perhaps being able to hock an activation to a scanner would do the same thing.
This would be so useful! Perhaps it could work as follows:
Off- nothing happens
On- .5 second tick (as if using one delay)
To make the delay longer simply link more delays to the clock!
