      Kupu's thread

I find plexglass to be very hard to see in the Pixel pack. Could you please give the blocks more of a noticeable shade or outline so I can know they're there and that there isnt a hole in my bridge's viewscreen that I can't see?

      Smaller-area Docking Blocks

Since an upcoming planned feature is for plexstorage blocks to have limited item stack space (thus necessitating "cargo crates" rather than a single plexstorage chest for thousands/millions of counts of several different blocks), people will need cargo holds more than ever to store this stuff...

Docked turrets get parent ships sheild coverage.

You don't even play the game, do you? PVP fleet battles have always been a big thing and they always will be, much moreso than NPC fleet battles. You also seem to be thinking that it is uncommon for servers to be able to hold 35 players but there have been many times where servers have had more...

The Vaygr Empire "To Dominate & Control" [Apply here]

game-wise, when you consider all the mechanics, this ship IS a frigate. It has moderate maneuverability coupled with a somewhat slow acceleration (especially with the new thrust mechanics). Vaygr "frigates" are normal-sized Starmade capital ships. Everything above that is all titans. Especially...

The Vaygr Empire "To Dominate & Control" [Apply here]

thats a frigate, not a fighter it would have way too low maneuverability and acceleration to function well in fighter combat

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

Where is an "Awesome!" emote when you need it?

If we make it too big it could cause some pretty big navigation problems. Not to mention that draw distance for planets and stars doesnt scale, so at a 10km sector size, it would literally be impossible to see the sun in a star system unless you were right next to its sector. Therefore I...

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

Wait a minute, so you're telling me that dockable reactor batteries are intended as a feature and not a bug? If so, may I just say, that's awesome! I was afraid it was a bug dealing with beams being interactive between the mothership and its docked entities, and that the feature would be...

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

Then it shall be done. I guess i'll have to create a new thread, because for some reason the website won't let me edit a poll into the OP. EDIT: On second thought, now that andy has cleared up the issue of long lines vs boxdim now below, I think I am content with just dropping the issue.

Does anyone else have a intel hd 4000 graphics card?

oh and if you have a mac chances are you are sometimes just permanently screwed' starmade doesnt seem to work well on most macs

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

I'm very confused why you believe that box dimension reactors were abusive. These "sweet spots" you were talking about- I think I would know about them, but they are probably much less "sweet" than you think they are, because I already developed the perfect box dimension bonus reactor design...

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

That's supposed to be a gif image, right? If it is, I don't think it's working here either :(

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

It's a great idea, and I would like it too, but considering the amount of ignorant posts I have seen so far in this thread- apparently people don't read- I wouldn't be surprised if it got shot down by a multitude of delusional fears from people who don't read. Not to sound rude about that, but...

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

Now, it's to just place them in long lines everywhere. Expanding box dimensions still is helpful but it doesnt give as much benefits nowadays as it used to. FYI any blocks that dont contribute to the box dimension still only return 25 regen.

Does anyone else have a intel hd 4000 graphics card?

Actually there is a good amount of people right now who are playing Starmade with Intel HD 4000 cards. So you might have a chance mate :) I believe they still crash with any beams rendered in their game so they have trouble with beam weapons, docking, and salvaging/repairing. I'm not tech...

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

Have you even been reading my posts in this thread? I think I've already established that power should not be a "simple, any idiot can ace it" kind of feature. Sandbox building games are naturally more fun the more challenge they have to offer for engineering systems and mechanics for objects...

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

Just curious because Andy mentioned this same argument earlier as well, could I see some picture examples of these "unfairly OP" reactors you're talking about? I had been using BoxDim all the time and I always found it to be very fair for power generation

What happened to box dimension bonuses for power regen?

You're missing the point here. "sheer numbers should overcome any design" is exactly the kind of cancerous mentality that needs to be stamped out here. It encourages giganticism. Special reactor designs are useful no matter what size of ship you are using. If you can pack more power into a...

      Mark B Frigate

That's NOT a frigate, mate! A frigate usually ranges from 80m-200m. Your ship is entirely a titan.
