      the game cant differentiate between custom blocks and real blocks, they all get declared in the same XML file. Realistically, you could remove the ship core from the game. Not sure how it would run, but the option is there.

      why would it be worse? All it has to do is when you edit the ingame description is save a copy too the blueprint folder.

      we can't be limited too 1024, I'm sure that @Crusade's IBM blocks had ID's over 1050, and I am sure I read somewhere here when someone did a breakdown of the bytes sent over the network that it was limited too 2048 :/

      I have always wondered about this, because I noticed it awhile ago while flicking through the block properties file thingy. Considering we are always told that there are limited IDs and we might hit it, that's an awful lot of unused ID's

      depends on the situation, but I prefer to do it in 2 stages. First of all, core drill. use punch through rapid AMC's to drill the core and kill the pilot. then fire nukes and spray the ship with the AMC to make sure that nothing is left to salvage or use.

      We currently use the elwyn TS as some of the command staff are admins, so we just sorta sit there voice.elwyneternity.com we used to have one, but the owner kicked us off, so we will be buying our own spoon.

      Deadlis told me it's all ingame (minus the lense flare he is dead proud of), he had to cut the front of your saucer section off though to make it work, just goes to show how little JJ cared about continuity ^^

      A simple details.txt in the folder would suffice, this is how starlaunch does it. Wouldn't need a change to the .sment format as it is simply a zip archive with the BP's folder in it.

      it's way too bright and glowy, and there is 0 detailing. Glowy blocks make nice engines and slight details, but not when 80% of the hull is it ^^ also, if your very little hull is black, try finding a less black skybox

      we had 2 armitages, we had limited credits and the armitage is expensive, 2 is all we could afford even after making it cheaper Point defense turrets are not in the game yet, if they were, we would have so abused them ^^ We call it a Siege Platform, and had the octopus class turret platform^^

      1 or 2 from what I could tell, once the armitages fell, it was just a matter of time before they took us out.

      Starfleet started with 2 fleets of 4 ships, but that doesn't count stealth scouts and the ships that we spawned after we died. we have no clue what anyone else had I think @x2006charger was recording some of it, I will get him to youtube it when I next see him

      They died early on because they was the biggest threat, one took a nuke to the weapons computers, so it was used as a meat shields, and I cant remember how the second died. Stargazers are nice and cheap, and not very scary looking. I took zoro's titan out in one with nukes while he was relogging...
