I played on a while on desolation and they fixed this problem by making standard hull and glass close to worthless and have quite high prices on ship parts(up to 30K for thrusters, weapons mostly 7-10K. If you start up a server like this, I would be happy to join it as desolation shut down...

to get the recipe you would need 5000 level 5 ore first...getting this can be challenging

Yes I am using yours...I also tried a few other texture packs, but none of them work. It is probably because I am installing them wrongly but idk how

low resolution texture pack is its name I think. I replaced the texture file with the one of the texture packs

When I use the default texture, the game works(more or less) fine even if i have only 20 FPS max. If I use any texture pack, the game doesn't work anymore due to a Intel graphic card error even if the texture pack has a lower resolution then default. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I quite like the cubatom system. While it goes slower than the factory system when you have a good recipe, in most cases it goes faster. At the start its hard to understand but there are already a few good tutorials on youtube for it. In my opinion, it is more of a way to get materials easily...

I think that either the more recipes of an tem you create, the more likely you are to get a good recipe or that very difficult recipes give the result a performance boost...maybe also make that you can improve recipes

Just so that you know: You got a very bad recipe. I got one for shields which is using 6 delta interface. Then I got another one which requires me to get 2 of something(forgot what) to get the interface. My best blueprint so far is 5 sand for a salvage laser

I think that also, to encourage manufacture, each recipe should have a little bonus. A very hard to complete recipe could have like +50% damage at weapons. Then the player would have to choose between easy to do or good result. Currently, I am just really annoyed when I get a recipe using like 5...

Wow, thats worse than one of my salvage cannon recipes that needed 6 hardened hull...but I probably also got the vest recipe for it: 5 sand for a cannon

My favourite moment was when I saw a faction having a 90% complete mothership but they forgot to add the factio core....you can guess what happened next
