As I found it very annoying to be forced to press down the w button for ages when travelling for a long distance, I decided I will make a macro so I only have to press a button once and it will keep flying straight until I tell it to stop.

I think this should be implemented but not like in Minecraft where they actually take a block. I think it should be more like in terraria where circuitry can be placed anywhere, even if there is already another block. It should be that if you place a Master Computer as CorneliousCrowe called it...
I quite like the idea with the plexstorages increaing max stack size...I think default should maybe be 100 of an item for ship parts(besides hull) and 1000 of all other...but this should also be editable by server admins(so that people who like to have a \"creative\" mode can have a very high cap)
Now I have to say, I really can\'t say anything against your point...besides that missiles might be underpowered(in my opinion) due to their slow speed
Thats true, but larger ships can destroy the shields of frigates quite quickly anyway. This is to not force the small ships to spend 5 minutes trying to break it.
Yes but as they would be as d1000, small ships would be able to dodge them much easier than big ones
