      Im just refering to the fact that most space operas act as if there is air in space. But as you guys say it will make things processor intensive and hard to make some ship types

      For enable_break_off have there be a minimum number of blocks the broken off part can be.

      this sounds pretty cool. Will break offs be caused by strain from acceleration? For example if you start spinning around uncontrollably will parts with thin connections snap off?

      Ok well right now I have a cruiser sized vessel, its around 57k blocks .9 million shields. The Biggest Turret on there is a quad turret with a range of 530. I guess since your ship was able to get to 2km it might be worth combining the guns so its 2 guns per turret though im not sure how far...

      I tried out the missiles, and yeah the heat seekers turn around and head for you... Dumb fire seems the best, if you charge towards the enemy and fire at the last moment after pounding with cannons

      What if by having a pilot seat, when the core gets hit you leave the controls and take 50% health loss instead of dying. so that you can go run to a fighter or escape pods etc on a big ship

      Is there a way to make missiles that are usefull? They move so slowly that I cannot shoot a capital ship with them, right now I have a light cruiser with fixed forward missile tubes, 12 blocks each that cannot shoot a copy of itself.... and it has 8 missile launcher turrets that are nigh useless...

      Shipyard

      +1 This is a really nice idea. But I would suggest everything being configurable, 1 sec per 10 blocks will be slow for some people, and too fast for others. I like how it contributes to the faction system and emphasizes infrastructure.
