      A Suggestion for Chairs

I think it's more of a stand-in feature since we don't have chairs and people have been using wedges for a long time.

launcher disappears but game never launches

AndyP has forwarded this problem to Schema. It doesn't look like something that can be solved on my end.

      A Suggestion for Chairs

Of course. If I want to pilot the ship I should be able to do it from a seat (or standing). I've never questioned that. When's the last time you crawled inside of a personal computer to operate it? True. That makes it worse. Yep. I sit 1m away from it, and the table's a meter high! ...see...

      Broken Economy *HUGE PROBLEM*

Okay, just keep cool and join Ragnarok Galaxy. LOL In all seriousness though, different teams are working on different stuff all the time. There's a good chance someone is working on a well-balanced economy as we speak, which will be a lot better than anyone's "OHMYGOULOSHWHATTEHFOOTFIXITNAO!"...

launcher disappears but game never launches

Now that's an interesting idea. What settings would you recommend? EDIT: messing with it now. EDIT 2: No dice. Same old, same old. :(

launcher disappears but game never launches

I just doubled the allotted memory. That didn't work either. About the only thing I can think of that I haven't tried yet is the Spock button.

launcher disappears but game never launches

I installed the latest JDK, uninstalled Starmade and reinstalled it in a different location (complete with appropriate path changes). I now have JDK 8 update 25. I no longer get any error logs (or anything at all) when I attempt to launch starmade.

      Different Types Of Ship Cores

Something like this perhaps? Or did he actually say it was a chair? http://starmadedock.net/threads/cockpits-simple-solution-remote-core-access.4650/#post-74461

      Redone Elevator Suggestion

I know, right?? Honestly, that was one of the best FPS games I've ever played. I think some real inspiration can come from its style and theme, which were its strongest points IMO.

      A Suggestion for Chairs

Trying to fly a ship and command a fleet at the same time sounds like a bad idea. Let someone else fly your flagship while you command the fleet. Anyway, I've suggested this before: If you link a chair to a computer, you can then activate the computer with R and you will automatically sit in...

An analysis of the relationship between planets, faction interactions and resource acquisition.

That too. I think we need differentiation between planets and asteroids as well as between systems.

      New GUI not coming up

There will likely be far fewer issues with the actual release. I expect the nav icons will be changed quite a bit more. (They've already been worked on I see, and I like what I see so far.) I'll bet the bars will be widened or brightened to make them more visible.

launcher disappears but game never launches

In order to use that information in any helpful way, I'll fist need to learn a lot more about how java works in Mac OSX. I've learned quite a bit today, but I'm not on that level yet.

launcher disappears but game never launches

One problem: "Java SE 6 web plug-in and Web Start features" - that's a browser plugin, not for running java applications like Starmade. Unfortunately, that article is irrelevant. The only reason I haven't tried launching starmade with a modified path is that there are various instructions out...

launcher disappears but game never launches

I would if I could. Do you have any experience removing java 6 from an OSX computer? It's not an easy thing to do. Newer Macs come without this weird version.

launcher disappears but game never launches

No. I'm using the launcher downloaded (and re-downloaded today) from the Starmade site.

And do you suppose changing my path would fix this?

launcher disappears but game never launches

I open starmade_starter.jar. So far so good. I click start game. The launcher window closes as usual, but the game never starts. System: Java: JDK 8 update 25 Mac OSX 10.10.1 Yosemite Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB I have already tried: Deleting and re-installing Starmade Ensuring Java is...
