      Hologram area trigger

A hologram area trigger works EXACTLY like a normal area trigger and links to the same area trigger controller. The difference is that a transparent, glowing icon appears in its center. That's the basics of it. An additional feature could be the ability to change the icon. This could be done...

In Developement Allow charts to stack with other decorative blocks

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. The conduits should probably multi-stack with something else as well, but I think five is the maximum number of blocks a multislot can hold at the moment.

In Developement Allow charts to stack with other decorative blocks

The decorative charts do not stack with the other decorative panels, but they really should. Quick and easy improvement.

Procedurally generated space "noise" (electrmagnetic white noise)

I'm already at a disadvantage with a lower power computer and a bug that makes my control sensitivity drop when my FPS gets low. If you're worried about such a small situational awareness disadvantage as this, spam Schema about the control frame rate bug first!

      Improved Controls and Throttle/Speed Control

*BUMP!* The current thruster controls stink, and require holding down a key to keep moving on servers with *bleep*ing space friction.

Procedurally generated space "noise" (electrmagnetic white noise)

This electromagnetic white noise was apparently recorded by the Voyager probe and rendered audible electronically. I think it would be neat to have something like this in Starmade. Different ambience could coincide with different procedural backgrounds. This would certainly be adjustable and...

Allow turrets to fire straight (90 degrees) "up"

Most of what you said here may not apply after the turret rework. Up/down movement is expected to be changed considerably so that only a portion of the turret moves up/down like a battleship cannon. Because of that, there should be nothing in the way of a properly-built turret pointing up. If...

Allow turrets to fire straight (90 degrees) "up"

Yeah, I know... there's no "up" in space but you get what I mean. A turret should be able to fire directly above it. As of now, there's a blind spot above a turret, and it's a bother. The only solution is to mount turrets in pairs with one turned 90* to the other. I know work on the new turret...

Read by Council Galactic Map - Exploration

Interesting... I think this would be bothersome in some ways, but it would add spice to the game. Here's what I'd change/add: Stars should be detectable from much farther than you suggested There needs to be a clear way to see what has been explored, and where something might still be hiding...

      Design Mode for shipyards

I don't know if this was the way it was planned, but it's the way it needs to work. I suggested a mode similar to this for ship/station build mode at one point, but integrating it into shipyards makes more sense.

Well, it's not that surprising that it isn't a planned feature yet. There are a lot of other things that need working on! I was thinking about this, and it could basically go two ways: A programmable logic unit with a limited clock speed (my favorite) a scriptable computer with a certain...

      Anti-Gravity Fields

I actually use this technique on a space station to put enough space between the core and the dock to build a ship.

I'd like to see this done. To prevent lagfests, processing used for in-game computers could be limited to a certain percent of server capacity. That means if there are too many computers, the computers would lag but the rest of the server would be pretty much okay. Unfortunately I think that's...

      Change to scanners and IFF

Scanners definitely need improvement, and displaying ships on the galaxy map sounds like a good way to do it. No support for IFF though as it adds nothing to gameplay, only a bothersome complication. Right now our ships handle IFF automatically without extra blocks and it should stay that way.

      Shields and turrets

I'd like to see turret shields buffed by main-ship effects like at the very least. AIs are too stupid to use defensive effects, so let them share the main ship's effects. I think that's a reasonable compromise.

      Starmade Shipwrights Alliance [SSA]

Here's my best ship: the Skyborn class. I designed it to be a workhorse of a warship. It's fairly easy to tune it to individual needs by filling its engineering bay with systems you need more of. Shielding is a common choice. Future versions will use a slightly higher balance of shields to...

Planned New Decoration Block idea: colored linear particle emitters

Well, I'd certainly like to see something along these lines. Beats me why you'd need to implement 9 blocks instead of just one configurable one though.

Implemented A way to prevent jump drives?

Thanks for the info. I'm going to exploit this in the next version of the Skyborn-class cruiser.

Implemented A way to prevent jump drives?

It used to be that getting shot would reset your drive charge. I think that still happens when you're hit with shields down.
