With the creature update... I can't make 3de models though, so I'll have to ask someone (or not, I'm guessing that that will be the first mod that pops up in the mod section). I want blue squids, green squids, rainbow squids... I want squids! ;)
Stop trying to add real life stuff!!!!!!! This is starmade!!! It has spacefriction for goodness sake! Stop trying to make it like space engineers, I want spacesquids that shoot lasers!!!
Has seriously nobody noticed that the stop modules are broken? They were so jealous of the overdrive modules that they decided that they would also increase top speed. They don't care about us players who want to salvage planets without dying.
That would take ages, and like I said, you need two specific resources, varat and bastyn if I'm not mistaken. This problem can be overcome by never attempting to land on a planet that doesn't have those resources, but if you really crash...
I know. Just one quick question: can you use notepad? The default xml editor on my computer is rubbish (it lets my edit, but than it smacks me in the face by not saving anything, I'll need to figure that out).
The problem is that those use a lot of specific resources. Everything that isn't resource specific is easy to craft anywhere, but as soon as you need specific resources, if you haven't got the one (they're always in pairs), you're not going anywhere.
I'm planning on making the thrusters non...
Or it could be, you know, that you're really far away. And the only real you wouldn't be able to tell the difference is if you're in anhuge salvaging ship. And then you don't need to be able to tell the difference.
It isn't hard to tell them apart actually. The ores look a lot less full than...
I love the new textures. Is the default pack still being worked on? I saw the new effect modules, and they are gorgeous! And when you put antialias on it looks even better! It's a pitty I can't build ships with over a thousand mass without getting a bit of lag. Lag isn't terrible when just...
Ok. About the ship building on planet/how to escape the planet.
Cores have reduced thrust now, so they can't lift off planets safely with collision damage on.
The bug prevents you from building ships from scratch on planets
You can't always make docking modules.
You can't always make gravity...
You could also just turn off linear and rotational dampening. Pirates are parctically harmless then. Just don't get in range of pirate stations, as those turrets aren't affected by dampening.
They still are trying to balance things. These is my attempts at trying to balance the game and make it progressive at the same time:

They don't look lime crystals. There is a big difference between the two types. And the ores aren't in a different language, they are just newly discovered ores that the trading guild tried to hide from the rest of us.
That setting should be clarified. Everyone know collision damage is still a work in progress. It is cool, But very, very, very unstable. I guess that's why schema said it was a work in progress. What I would like to see is that you can set the minimum speed required for things to do damage, and...
No, you the cores are going to be invincible in big ships. I don't know this for sure, but I think that there will be a hp bar (duh) and when that hits zero your core will overheat.
Me too. I don't want the old crafting system. Cubatom is going, +1 to that. There just are a few more things I would like to see (like a factory that can turn partial blocks back into full blocks). I don't know why there are non imiginary ore ingots (I believe it was gold and 1 or more others...
I don't think he can. It has to do with the station contest. I had a few posts that I couldn't edit. If he can edit them however, he should indeed do so.
