It's not really that bad, especially considering that the server survived the onslaught. If you're really concerned about lag just unleash some skoomseekers. That should..... slow things down a little and help the server catch up ;)

lol, it like you're building things with a really really low "resolution". Try adding some more "pixels" and it should look better (as in add in some slanted stuff). But hey, at least you tried :D

Perhaps just making the "corner rails" and straight rails into a copy-paste palette would solve the problem? It's something I'd love to see!

Get Weapon or turret equipped with a stop effect. Get behind the now immobile enemy ship with your superior agility. Hug it so that turrets can't hit you, unload everything = epic win.

Ok, so I just uploaded the latest version of the reaper to the website. I updated the guns and added some shield regen. As well as a chin mounted web turret, very useful for 1v1 engagement. here's the link: http://starmadedock.net/content/reaper.1142/

This ship is designed to be an AI controlled corvette (still very easy to pilot manually), it's equipped with good weapons and a ridiculously over-sized (yet awesome) turret. It makes for an excellent pirate without being overly massive. Here's a sample image of the turret in fully reversed...
