That's also what I thought, you may want to look into it once you get some time (it's fairly low priority). But thanks for the quick reply!
Edit: I'll see if simply turning off culling, changing the draw distance and turning culling back on works.
@schema the crash when changing the draw distance is back.... Seems like you removed the thing where it would finish loading in the old chunks before changing the settings?
Thank you so much!!!
For those wondering: the graphics improvement is for real. My computer doesn't die while looking at my titan now. Although I admit that when I quickly turn around the side chunks will load really fast but that's way more tolerable than 3 frames per second.
I have yet to...
*WOOOOOOWUUUUUUWOOOOOOWUUUUUU*
EVERYONE STAND BACK, I'M GONNA QUENCH THESE FLAMES!!!
*pchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*
Ok, now go back to what you were doing people. But remember: Using flame throwers is a bad idea.
There's a new function in advanced buildmode to selectively remove blocks. Just click the "remove filter" and select the block you want. It will be the only thing deleted when you mass remove blocks.
I meant that you didn't claim to make the models yourself. Some people do that and think that we're too stupid to notice (it's usually extremely obvious).
This is indeed a very clever and simple to use classification and is honestly the best I've seen so far. The names can also easily be changed for a custom classification.
I especially like the fact that it takes almost everything into account.
Honestly, +1
It really makes me happy to see someone use smedit and actually CREDIT the original authors (and state that it's a smedit) in order to create a replica, instead of trying to pass things out as original work (which always fails).
Seriously, the ship scale in eve is huge! 1km long battleships...
There's already server config option to enable buying blueprints with blocks only. Meaning that you can't buy a ship if you don't have all the materials in your inventory.
Besides, the fact that you don't like to *poof* ships out of nowhere doesn't mean that we shouldn't have the ability to...
Uh
>_> ... <_<
I never did that!!! Swarm missiles instead of turrets for the win!!!
Seriously, though. I think that the missile mass/agility suggestion alone would be enough. Well, only if the targeting system gets fixed, of course.
Seriously, what's wrong with being the bad guy???
As ridik stated (I can't remember when), there's no hero if there isn't any bad guy to defeat :p .
Can you just imagine a story without anything going wrong? That would just be extremely dull... We are basically adding this element of surprise...
