i kinda wanted it to be based around a "railgun" like halo's mac cannons or at least how i percieve them (one giant gun running the length of the ship)
you can use it for logic fired weapons so its not all for rp bullshit but its still just a thing that would be nice to have ingame kinda like Space Engineers scripting block
its role is going to probobly be a small defence ship meant to work in fleets with a few side versions like a miner and cargo hauler
also im proboly going to replace some of the smaller armor plates with decorations when i get to that point

i think there should probobly be a base limit of stations per sector of 1
and if you go for something like the optional route its not forced but insentivised because its more efficient
servers can alter the rules all they want but i want to add this to the base game to insentivise expansion...
a system like that would be nice for later game, but what im talking about in this idea is a way to make players want to expand instead of hunkering down in one giagantic station because it would make it more efficient to have 3 stations doing 3 different tasks than to have one station do all...
