I'm sure that you have all had that one turret that can't turn 360° because part of the ship sticks up behind it and when it tries it gets stuck or starts causing physics to happen, so wouldnt it be nice if you could artificially set limits to how far it can turn in either direction.

the problem with that is that we want to be able to put interiors in ships that have a large amount of systems without messing too much with the function of the ship.

thats a good idea, i think it would probobly be an escort craft that works in teams of three with each holding a specific loadout, i might go with a weapon something like the ion frigate from homeworld since the front could be decorated in some ways to make it pretty and because i like lasers...
