The best way to make sure things are set right is use a build block when setting them down.
When you are in the build block target the storage module and press C it should be highlighted in an orange box. It will at the same time if everything is correct highlight the cargo containers in purple...
The next group and devs are going to have it rough. I say that because this game is going to need to get more people coming in so it can continue paying the bills. That means you will need a game that is more polished and playable not just as multiplayer and a builder. It needs stability and a...
There is huge thread discussing that aspect.
But there are work arounds to it. You can build a ship that catches the drones then auto docks them like I did this cargo system here.

Another option is build a scoop...
I played minecraft also. There is no survival currently in this game compared to minecraft. Minecraft you actually have creatures come after you. You get hungry, there is a story line if you choose to follow it. So what you are left with in this game is multi-player. There seems to be a lot less...
The 2 million power cap isn't an issue in my book. In fact it was needed for ships to be able to haul cargo and have it take up any reasonable amount of space in the ship. Otherwise simply cargo ships couldn't work as cargo ships. A lowly new player starting out would never be able to get any...
I hate even suggesting something like that but can't really think of much else that would cause it unless config file is changed or something. I figure if you changed the config you would know about it.
This is a concept ship. I don't suggest using it. Doing so will probably crash a server if put to full use.
The Stick ship is a design idea for deploying a large force.
Right now I put 4 drones on it to show how they can be launched with one button click. The bobbi AI on the drones are not...
Its that last part about surviving most encounters is the issue depends on what you are up against.
Depending on how large your cargo is compared to the ship out running an enemy is not likely if say 30% or more of your ship is cargo.
You'll have plenty of power to divert to weapons if you...
I got into that discussion with them a while back. Basically large ships have lots of room to use and small ships don't. So they did it to give small ships a boost. They also brought up the square cube law. Two ways you can look at that law. You can look at it as the as the surface area of the...
Have you tried doing a repair or reinstalling. I haven't had the issue in sector or out in any manor. Not saying you aren't but it seems that with as few people reporting it the issue is local to those individual. Such as maybe a file was corrupted.
I tend to disagree. if you build a cap ship it has to use as many jump modules as that and more. By getting rid of most of the ship I don't have to account for all the added blocks.
So in truth it should take less time than a cap ship to jump because it has the full power needed and less...
True it can still be built into a stick. There also is no reason each ship couldn't have built in power transfer they just shut off when not connected.
Actually there is only a requirement for 1 jump module and 1 computer it just takes longer to charge. Power is 10000+ 50xnumber of modules...
