      So I went back re analyzed the system. Here is the problem to get decent efficiency out of the blocks for continuous power you need fairly large block counts 7200 block will net you 1.23M e/sec. or about 170 a block. You can shoot a single block out of that 7200 and end up finding huge amounts...

      I went to the point of attaching a cannon cannon system to a ship and then tried providing power using the aux power only. Turned out the I had a bug needed to reinstall. Again. Argh.

      From what I tested recently seems the core still gets hit just missiles/AI don't target it. Hmmm, going to need to retest it though maybe put a small wall of them in front. Either way if it doesn't should be an easy fix for them to make that back to true. Forgot thanks for info.
