Google it, there are tons of answers. Most common is to update your graphics driver.

If your ship still exists do a /search NAMEOFSHIP and then you can fly back to what is left of it.

Maybe run that command every few minutes and save the output to a log file? Then when it crashes you can see what it looked like leading upto the crash
