What settings are you using? Do you have low draw distance?

I never said you should only use a single line, I was showing that having fewer, but longer lines is better than many small ones.

Having multiple lines is not as efficient as a single line. Two lines that are 25 long each (51 total blocks with core): 10,957.4 e/sec One line that is 50 long (51 total blocks with core): 16,039.0 e/sec

The my target mode is bad because they don\'t seem to fall back to \"any\" mode, so if you have turrets on the left of your ship and enemy on the right, they can\'t see, and thus won\'t shoot at that target. \"Any\" lets them find whatever target they can shoot at and fire away.

Flight Time? There is no fuel, and power is easily recharged....

Anyone care to comment on issues with larger ships? I\'ve heard of people with gigantic ones crashing into planets and causing servers to crash / freeze, so I\'d like to avoid any problems.

How can you possibly do 160,000 damage per second? How big is that fighter? The LOWEST amount of blocks you could have for that kind of DPS would be 2150 single array AMC\'s with the overrides set to 100% damage (74.4 DPS each)

If you can, it is better to have a long, single block width line that goes the length of your ship (and if possibe, the width / height too). For example, if you have a total length of 100 blocks in your shape (assuming no \"overlap\" that causes you to get less for that spot), you\'d get...

I don\'t understand why people think it would be cheating... its not like it creates it in game for you with all of the systems setup. All it does it provide a guide for how to place the blocks and where, and does so in an easy way.

Try creating a new ship, with just like 5 blocks all in a straight line. See which way those blocks are docked to the docking port. Make sure you are enhancing the width and length correctly. You might have to rotate the docking block so the ship docks in the correct direction.

If you are close to big structures, or planets, try moving farther away. Your GPU is having issues rendering everything and is cuiling the blocks.
