Seems 3D shapes are still better than lines!

Gotcha! Wouldn\'t have been possible without your design of course.

      Best 10x10x10 Energycube layout

Very nice! When you get down to the 5x5x5 L shapes, there should be better arrangements there, I\'m going to have a go. Edit: Balls, so close: This isn\'t the best 5x5x5 block though, so it could be better.

      Planets

This is an exact carbon copy of a thread that was at the top of the forums just last week. I\'d recommend searching and you\'d find out what other people think. You might well also find out what the developer himself thinks about this!

      LUDICROUS SPEED

      1. Because this one is a slightly different idea. 2. He\'s given some thought to bypassing some of the normal restrictions. 3. He\'s entitled to have his own version of this suggestion.

I cant enter ANY ship ?

Are you in build mode of another ship? Are you in another ship? Did you change the key binding for entering a ship? (It displays the button for exiting it, not entering it which can be different) Does the ship belong to a different faction from yours? And, as above said, are you close enough?

      JVM Crash when starting game

I\'d definitely recommend checking and downloading the latest version of Java as the JVM is pretty much what every java program HAS to run on.

      Most Efficient 3-Way Engine (Shield/Power/Thrust)

One last addition... if we\'re trying to keep the number of blocks equal, here\'s the capped version of the above. 35730.0 e/sec if trying to keep power blocks, shields and thrusters in equal numbers. You\'ll notice some power block strips cut short at the top, that\'s to make up for the...

      Most Efficient 3-Way Engine (Shield/Power/Thrust)

The challenge is to beat 57768.5 e/sec within a 9x9x9 block frame.

      Most Efficient 3-Way Engine (Shield/Power/Thrust)

For illustration purposes, here\'s the standard 9x9x9 block of sticks: And here\'s the capped 9x9x9 block:

      Most Efficient 3-Way Engine (Shield/Power/Thrust)

One minor improvement to the sticks layout though, is by capping the sticks at both ends. By that I mean adding a small cross (+) to alternating stick ends, then capping the other side by adding that small cross (+) to the ones which weren\'t capped the other end.

      Most Efficient 3-Way Engine (Shield/Power/Thrust)

I don\'t even know what you\'re going on about now. This has all been done before, there are loads of 5x5x5 box designs for power, but anything that\'s going to be longer in length than 9 blocks, is far better being made up of individual sticks. Also, if the rule was \'Touching faces\' then a...

      Most Efficient 3-Way Engine (Shield/Power/Thrust)

You don\'t have equal numbers of each in your block, there should be 243 of each, but you have 249 shield blocks.

      Reorienting after every sector.

This is absolutely horrendous, it\'s so bad I\'m logging off for the night. Try it in a larger ship too, it takes forever to pull the mouse cursor back onto the screen.
