+1 on all of your ideas dude.
As I am the grammar nazi that I am, I must point out that you said "Suns".
Sun is just the name of the star in the Milky Way, and there is only one, so I assume you meant "stars".
Cool idea guys, and I love to see this kind of debated coming from one idea, but I myself am neutral, they both seem like good ideas and therefor I say both.
Have one be instant but require a lot more time and effort, whereas the module could be slow but still require a lot of power.
Ok, cool, I don't think it's a video card problem though, considering that I have the 430. =P
Anyway, after that first time, if I grab it with the VS2010 JIT Debugger and tell it to continue, it continues fine and never crashes like that again.
I believe that players' sizes are overexaggerated, as I have to be in a very precise spot (usually perpendicular) to place any block, else it says something is blocking it. Any ideas, schema?
Whenever I enter a planet's "atmosphere" my game tries to crash. I managed to grab it with a JIT debugger and I got this:
Unhandled exception at 0x000007f990b0a2b9 in javaw.exe: 0xC0000374: A heap has been corrupted.
You need to get out first to do it, but it seems that a lot of orientation stuff is messed up right now, so you may need to remember what you set it to, get in, then it will probably be wrong. If so you will need to get back out and turn the right amount to fix it and then get back in.
I would...
I know, but thank you. That's how I got it working on Win8 in the first place. I saw an exception about accelerated pixel somethings so I updated my graphics driver. XP
No problem. I try to keep it up to date with the most recent versions, but if you want me to, I can run it with the tester builds. (There are such things as tester builds, right?) Should I?
ALSO, feel free to add my server to the servers page if you want.
Game (singleplayer sandbox) continuously crashes after a few minutes after load. Tested on spawn screen before clicking spawn at all, and it also crashes there. I checked the log from that crash and at the end it said this:
