      I would say it COULD be possible with a powerful enough server and IF it weren't in java. I think the main problem with something like that would be that Java wouldn't be able to handle it.

      Yes, but this is java we're talking about, not the computers processing power. That's the same reason that explosions take a while to be calculated, but if it were in a language like C++ it would go just as fast as the computer could handle.

      Also for servers, if you exit the game while in a ship, no one else should be able to get in until you log back on and get out.
