you are mixing up heatseekers with lockons. i mean both head for the enemy but till lockons require a lock on process they can't be triggered by logic. i suggest either put them in a turret and make the turret fire out vertically or use heatseekers instead

does not look like a battle ship that is a luxus cruiser for tourists to cruise through the nebulas. A battle ship would have bigger guns. or it is a science vessel or whatever but why would a battleship house thousands of people if there are just 10 guns and some other stuff to look for?
