      I don't follow your logic. If vsync is on, you won't be able to get fps higher than your 'refresh rate', which is likely 60 hz. If it isn't on, I'm not really sure what benefit you're supposed to get from getting the game to update the graphics 6 or 7 times faster than the display can update...

      Have you thought about how this would impact fighters, harvesters, and other small ships? Turrets are also problematic because of the giant hole in the turret aiming coverage in the 'up' direction, but that isn't a problem with your proposal so much as a problem with turrets as they are now.

      If you're planning to attack something that will so overpower any shields you can mount that you might as well omit them, then perhaps it would be efficient to try to add power tanks to fuel a higher DPS, and launch from a cloaked carrier or try to approach out of line of sight of any turrets...

      I just tested it by firing a single 9-block D1000 and then a single 9-block SD-BB at a faction module. Neither did any damage to it. Both show their stats as 150 damage.

      If you need more than 1 million e/s regen to run the ship and all its turrets, it'll be more efficient to give each turret its own power generator system anyways, just to run itself without having to rely on the ship's power.

      Slow and weak? Their stats are exactly the same as the other missiles... The real problem with them is that (last time I tried it... which was probably 10 months ago, so it may have changed) locking onto anything moving was impossible.

      I believe this is because when you are docked, it updates the mass on the station or ship you are docked to instead... I could be remembering wrong, but don't stations show as having no mass normally?
