Yes I am guessing schema did this to avoid messy integration. Maybe it was easier to use a new item instead of the blueprint, which does act more like a storage device instead of a ship design. Still, reducing the number of steps for what is essentially the same thing would be nice. Consider...
If they do not already pass on their effects to docked entities then that needs to be amended, so long as there is a cost increase / decrease in effectiveness when it's active.
I imagine that would create a number of problems unless it was delegated to some sort of control computer. That's very specific however and single pilot control will be the priority before we think about multiple pilot turret control.
The map will likely feature a number of changes as development continues. It is far from finished. It is unlikely that there would be a remember previous location, as that is quite uncommon as far as I am aware. Navigating and finding locations in the map will certainly be easier however.
Well it's a good idea but I think we should just wait till the AI is improved. Having the AI utilize the support weapons and target friendly targets are not hard things. Combining them wouldn't be much effort. With the introduction of fleets this is more viable and I imagine we waited till now...
The minelayer was not scrapped. It was put on indefinite hold and then something new took it's place. Then put on indefinite hold again. Which sucks. It would make things interesting again.
As for flak. Yes please.
IMO the combat in this game is lacking. There are TONS of things that we could...
So let me be sure. Logic next to factory A. It has settings. Press logic. Settings are now transferred to factory B, which is slaved to the logic.
Seems fair. There might be changes to factories in general in the future, although we need to see how that pans out before we put something like...
Clickable links sounds great.
Not sure about emoticons. We are not a chat program. I am sure people would find interest in emoticons in the game but it's not a priority in the slightest I am afraid. If emoticons are that important, well I'm not sure what to tell you :P.
Copyable text also...
There are a few more materials that will get slab variations. I am sure lights could be one of them, but keep in mind that is a lot of new slabs for each color.
An easy way to build such things is always nice, but it does not need to rely on the quarter system. That is very specific to crews at the moment. The game could instead fill a space wall to wall or ceiling to floor in a line. If it can do that then it could probably just fill the room going row...
Is this a suggestion for the creative mode option from the startup menu or the creative mode in game?
For a creative world, I'd say sure. But making these changes in on a server where not everyone has creative has to be considered. Tab-f8ing into your ships is a bit exploitive if you are...
Sounds feasible. Not sure how hard it would be to implement but a simple activation of effects from mothership to docked entities doesn't seem too difficult to put in. I will hold onto this suggestion for future use.
