Sector lagging is a side effect of big ships, and isn't purposeful.

How does it encourage faction building if pretty much every faction is dead constantly? Mercdragon and Vaygr are the only exceptions to my knowledge and Vaygr just 'sploits resources.
This idea still lands us at square one with game mechanics restricting the shape of player creations that want to be effective.

probably a little obnoxious to say this but I think making resource mechanics into something that wasn't irritating and difficult to work with should've been a thing before the power overhaul, but that's just my opinion
