I'll be honest to immerse myself in Trinovan architecture I looked at Trinovan ships for 30 minutes every day for a week, and even took some notes on them, and Debris' building style. I don't take notes for shit irl so idk what the frick* (I forgot, no swearing) I am doing with my life
The average day I regret ever purchasing the game, I could've just ridden up to this point without purchasing the full game. I didn't pay $15 for a game where I have to wait for another update (which will probably be another couple months) for it to be remotely playable.
I spent $10 on this game, and it was well worth it, but I didn't pay $10 for a half released broken update that makes the game unenjoyable, and I certainly didn't pay $10 so I could wait for the next update which will probably come in 2 years or so.
A commune is where everyone puts into a common resource pool and takes out from a common resource pool. Usually people say this kind of setup doesn't work but with the amount of players most Skub factions had its doable.
This isn't just a simple poll, but instead an alternative method that should hopefully eliminate bias that might have possibly existed with previous polls. The current stage of this poll is gathering a population (a group that I wish to gather data from), however I can't just grab a list of all...
I'd love to do a SRS (Simple random sample) to figure out the proportion of the playerbase that approves of the Power 2.0 update, however I would need a comprehensive list of all members of the "active" or "formerly active" community, then I could give a relatively solid statistic. The problem...
Yeah Starmade is just "there" now, nothing makes it stand out from its competition. It's just boring as of now, and I'm not sure the universe and weapons updates will change that.
I'm surprised that so many resources were sunk into this update despite the obvious protests of the community, and quite frankly we'd be better off without it.
If you want anything combat effective it has to look like shit. If you build actual ships combat is never fun because everything breaks so quickly, and on the other hand dumbell ships are so broken its not even worth it to fight with them.
Will these players be permanent though? I believe the new increase in players has been caused purely by people interested to see the new power changes, however I don't think they will stay. Players who play multiplayer, who are the vast majority of the community to my knowledge, are unhappy with...
This is a thread to discuss concerns with the new forum rules. Let's at least try to remain civil.
I personally believe that this is going to allow moderators to actively remove posts that they and Schine disagree with, but that is just an opinion.
I'm interested to hear everyone's opinions
why Schine decided to push the update despite the overwhelming community backlash is beyond me.
We all said it was shit, and I guess this proves our point.
