      Jumpmodule and Pirateproblems

You can put weapons on a station. I was just talking about the jump charge thing... Trading it is far from impossible, seeing as it's just a number like any other, but obviously you can't automate jump charging so it can't be used on stations.

      Solutons to discourage gigantism?

The nature of sectors in ST is extremely inconsistent, like many other things... I was just pointing out that named sectors (and sectors in general) were a thing in ST, not just galactic quadrants, which are too huge to compare to SM sectors.

      Jumpmodule and Pirateproblems

My gosh, that's an amazing idea... One problem, though. On a station, where would the jump charge supply come from? You can't automate jump drive charging, sadly...

      Jumpmodule and Pirateproblems

IMO, there should be an effect module you can link to weapons that converts part of their damage into a (small) percentage of their jump charge being removed.

Toaster or Potato, when running StarMade off your economy laptop

Someone really needs to create a mobile-device-like computer with a potato for a case.

      The Current State of Weapons

Maybe natural explosion+piercing? Rapid cannons could get a slight pierce effect too, just not as large. Also, guys, Schema messed up. Cannons are the ones intended to be able to shoot down missiles.

Why is stop effect so powerful?

The way I see it, Stop Effect is so powerful so that people will actually use it... Otherwise everyone's just going to use punch, ion, (rarely) EMP, or overdrive, and this will be a very boring world.

      Thrust Mechanics Explained

Rather than a specific point where suddenly ship turning starts to suck, I'd imagine a gentle curve that slowly flattens out at a certain point... Essentially a soft-capped nerf. :p

Spearhead Yachtworks (formerly called "Zenatio Shipyards")

Impressive ships... Compared to a lot of the armor-plated cuboids (And conglomerations thereof) I've been seeing flying around, those are pretty unique original designs. Not that I have anything against this look sometimes...

      Thrust Mechanics Explained

IDK if it's "ridiculous," nor if it's a war on titans. The only thing that makes it ridiculous is the fact that it isn't just a war on titans - IMO, it's a war on anything larger than a frigate or smallish cruiser, and anything that isn't an ugly cube. However, titans should definitely have...

      Adimo Elite Division

Just so you guys remember, cloaking and jamming will almost certainly be rebalanced when the HP system is in. Currently, jamming is extremely buffed as a temporary fix for core drilling... That will change. Cloaking mechanics will probably become more interesting, and less annoying, as well.

StarMade 0.171 Salvage to Storage and more

Well, truth is, it isn't that easy to hit missiles, but yes, I do agree. (Likewise with warpgates being one-per-station.)

      Hull and the cloaker

Nice job, but I see no reason why a cloaking ship should have to be recognizable as such at all. The whole point of cloaking is stealth, it shouldn't require a ship to look like a big chunk of reactor blocks, which gives it away immediately.

StarMade 0.171 Salvage to Storage and more

...I find that the best way to balance missile HP is for it to be a function of (of all things) cooldown. It should be decently easy to shoot down easily-replaceable rapid missiles, but heavy hulk missiles and lockons, which there aren't always many chances to fire, should take fairly good...

Owning starsystems and a (linked, kinda) better universe map.

...Except then, what if the "outlaw" already has practically unlimited resources? Then they can do whatever the hell they want, the trading guild can't touch them, other players can't touch them, their base is probably practically invincible...

This is actually a really nice way to keep track of this, and a very useful tool. Nice work. Now if only we could get a programmer to make a self-updating application thing for this, so that an image doesn't have to be remade and reedited into the post... I agree. However, while this IS alpha...

So bored, reiginite interest in Starmade

Yes, but... freedom to do what? What activity? Player-made minigames get boring after a while, too... While it's very slowly improving, I'm not sure if the currently-available tools for creating said games is enough to balance off the lack of in-the-box content and depth. That said, this IS...
