      I was picturing the range going up with size, with diminishing returns; the actual cone angle would stay the same. The main thing that would scale would be the salvaging rate.

      The game uses some kind of partial duplicate entity in the other sector to handle collisions and visibility and stuff; it doesn't have full capabilities of a loaded entity in your sector and there are some other issues with things that go across sector borders. My advice: Just stay away from them.

      YES. This is good. Currently wormholes are just an awkward galactic tube system... No secret wormhole routes, no sense of discovery, etc. Lots of good, but needs its own topic.

      Just shutting it off on sector borders as a precaution would be preferable to not implementing it at all.

      Remember that you can put activator next to a rail docker and it will turn on when docked. Just have it turn off the pulling from the drill. However, yes, simultaneous cross-entity pulls should be implemented; I don't quite get why the game doesn't already allow for it.

      Loading a whole second copy of the ship would mean tons of lag when someone first hits you with an astrotech beam. Compared to that, just storing the second copy constantly sounds like a better idea. ...At which point you need a huge repair ship, and if power requirements were, say...

      Aaaand there's the problem. That means each ship takes up 2x as much data, which is no problem at all in Robocraft with their tiny 'bots, but in Starmade it can swiftly become a big deal as you go up the ship scale.

      Never suggest something to circumvent mechanics that are bugged... Unless the bug is a long-standing technical dilemma or something. This is just a plain-old bug, when in doubt assume it will be fixed.
