I don't think the computer thing is a bug.
If you place a docking port on the side of a ship anything docked to it will have the top facing sideways, this will mean the docked ships will fly out just as if you had them launched sideways from an upright docking port. The only difference will...
I believe all you need is the beam computer slave to turn a dumb fire into a target lock missile just with no range benefit. It also works for heat seekers, you just get a single tracking missile instead of a swarm.
I'm not sure if it's been discussed in the prior 14 pages but if you build a rack with the drones launching up, you should be able to attach that to any side of your ship without needing a left and right version.
I've been on a bit of a hiatus for a while now and I've gotten a new computer so I really want to re-boot my tutorials. One set of those pulses are broken now and I've thought of a new set today. Using the right tool for the right job can save a lot of hassle. If you have a high/low signal...
New?
You can also invert this circuit by using an or instead of an and built the same way. You'll get a falling edge monostable circuit that will flash a low pulse instead of high.
You have many options depending on you want a high pulse or a low pulse.
The last few don't work anymore but I haven't gotten around to making an updated video.
Or I could edit the texture sheet to look like whatever I want, but that doesn't matter if I intend to share my ships as anybody who downloads them won't see what I see.
I believe it says "TRIM"
I now wish we could put factories on ships, even if they don't do anything. That looks amazing and would be a great decorative option.
I'm pretty sure there are already those complaining the stop effect is already over powered. I myself have yet to test the non damage type effects so I can't really weigh in directly yet.
Sectors used to be locked into a rather small area but now there is no reason to have them set low. As far as I am aware larger sectors actually improves performance and it definitely makes jump drive much more useful (in several cases with the default sector size I could fly the distance back...
Currently missiles are the best thing for taking out turrets. There is a bug that makes missiles do significantly more damage in a much larger radius to anything they don't hit directly. I've seen a single missile destroy every turret on ship before.
I do agree it does feel pretty balanced in...
I've already used regular plex doors on blast doors decoratively but you have to sacrifice protection to do so. The grey blast doors look fantastic in some areas while the older plex door looked better in others but has to be replaced for the armor value. I guess a light and dark version would...
That's great until you have a ship with more unique block types than you have inventory slots. What happens then? It still doesn't address the fact that ships should not just *poof* into existence, it kind of breaks any immersion this game might have.
If set to high then the missiles become impossible to destroy and it's the same problem all over again. The system isn't infallible, turrets take time to rotate and covering every blind spot is hard. We'll really have to see the system tested in full combat before anything gets adjusted...
They used to have disagree options, but I'm pretty sure it was removed because it was abused. You couldn't disagree with any post without the person immediately down-voting your posts, essentially becoming a flame war. Some people trolled the forums and "disagreed" with everything they could...
