      You have no idea how pissed the Imperium is that I *upgraded* my ships with them. Talk about heavy hitting - I had 50k mass warships that could deal almost 30mil damage in a single volley without nukes XD And then fire it again 20 seconds later. :D

      You cannot please everyone, true. But you can fix a system based on outdated assumptions. I like the idea too. It distinguishes those who truly understand how the game works from everyone else, methinks. Unfortunately the risk is just awful.

      I have a logistical ship design I'm waiting to refit when they get the things working. :) Personally, I'd love to have shields and hull buffed by at least ten times. That would bring logistics ships into the fold a bit, methinks. SuperTitans, ofc. 400k+ mass.

      Negative. 3 minutes to 6 minutes. Beam Weapons will make it easier to hit and kill fast moving targets. The difference is that capital ships will have a harder time killing jammed fighters. However, you've made me think. It's a problem and I'll look into it.
