there is no reason why the Java 32bit and 64bit versions shouldnt run on win7.
this maybe a problem with a antivirus/firewall software protecting your system from the evil java ? ;)
otherwise uninstall java completly and get the standalone java installer for 32bit and 64bit, install 32bit first...
That is weird.
It should only happen if the Username you are using belongs to an already uplinked player account. It is what protects your stuff from others players.
Did you try to login with a new different name ? (if that doesnt work its most likely a server side problem then)

What operating system are you using? What kind of Grafic card are you using?
Is your Java installation uptodate? Make sure you run 64bit java for a 64bit OS and if you need a 32bit java to be installed to make sure it is the same Version than...
did you try different servers?
What are your system specs? OS,Java,RAMsize, CPU and GPU
delete(or moeve it somewhere else) the settings.cfg from the starmade folder to go back to default settings.
try under optiopns&repair in the launcher repair or force dowload after choosing the proper game...
CyberTao thats a totaly different thing than entities (ships) going missing. what you describe is a kind of wrongly updated meta data within one entity (connection effect not deleted together withthe weapon cpu)

The planets are depending on there size huge performance problems. Unless they are altered (i think by adding something) they do get generated each time someone gets close to them anew(to save disk space for not needed planets). And the generation may in itself cause performance hits.

i would have suggested the use of the 220 first ... but that thing is so inferior in comparison to the k4000.
and other than drivers i think there is no good reason why it shouldnt work with that Keppler based K4000 card.

from reading the datasheet i would agree that the card supports openGL up to 4.x and therefore should be able to run Starmade.
did you use the Quadro drivers from Nvidia ? (last update was dec 14 i think) or is it possible to use the general Gforce driver driver package from the nv page?
there is a "OptionsRepair" button on the launcher .. you could use that (choose the current release in the drop down) and try to overwrtite maybe corrupted gamefiles (you know hope dies last they say)

hydraxax you did not exit the game by closing the game window with "x" ? Have you tried to spawn in a different ship in that sector? Is that also beeing deleted ?
KiloZulu does it respawn/reemerge in sector 0 0 0 ? I did read things about corrupted things spawning in 0 0 0 :\
It only crashes while fireing a weapon ? Game start and opening of option menu works ?
If yes - deselect the "Draw beams" in options
If no - change "G_DRAW_BEAMS = true" to false in the settings.cfg
and also provide the log.txt.0 file from the logs folder with the time stamp from latest crash...
