      Docked ships can still be activated and use AI to fire at enemies. I used "fixed" guns all the time. I think this only doesn't work on AMS weapons. Under the weapons tab you just have to hit the activate ship selection instead of turrets. Give it a try, it should do what you want and solve...

      Yeah I don't think in the game anywhere are they called heat seekers. The original version might have been but back then cannons used to be called AMCs. Now it's Missile slaved to Missile and you call it what ever you want.

      I've always found the power cost for jump drives on ships to be negligible once you get past the initial barrier. This would more or less just raise the barrier for entry and once you get past that point there would never be any reason not to use it.

      I can't even understand why you have two independent barrels next to each other and are attempting to capture them together.       I think the problem is more loot clouds are ridiculously full of tons of crap. I don't think they should be gotten rid of completely but toned down, you can get millions of credits worth of high value blocks way to easily, breaking any hope for an actual economy.

      Last time I tested warheads it didn't even have enough explosive power to destroy itself allowing for it to hit multiple times. When it finally did destroy itself it didn't even kill the core I had attached it to.
